The first generation BMW 7 Series, launched in 1977, was the first production car to feature ABS. The second-gen model's world-first features were its xenon headlamps, and it was also the first sedan to integrate a telephone into its cabin. Succeeding generations of Munich's flagship luxury sedan have all had pretty significant innovations such as Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) in the third generation car, and Night Vision (fifth gen).
