As always, Mercedes C-class Coupe sells on style instead of driving dynamics as it sits on the same underpinnings of the C-class saloon. However, the new C-class Coupe looks a bit less convincing to me compared with its predecessor (as well as the preceding CLK-class), because both its waist line and boot are set too high to deliver a sleek appearance expected for a Mercedes coupe. Yes, given more restricted dimensions I know it is difficult to replicate the beauty of S-class Coupe, but the fact that the smaller, 4-door and front-drive CLA-class looks better proportioned is something its designers should think again.
